I purchased these photographs at Antique Warehouse Mall in January 2016 and did the same thing as my previous post, I posted them on Ancestry.com. I researched and created a family tree for the Mayor family, then posted these photos.

On 13 October 2019, I received a message on Ancestry from a relative asking about the photographs. She knew a box of the family’s photos were donated to a local museum decades ago, so she was curious how I had photographs of them. Some that I had posted to the tree were the museum photos, but I told her that I would be happy to let her have the ones in my possession.

“Thank you soooo much! You just don’t know how happy I am to get these back in the family!”

I returned the Mayor family photos on 4 November 2019.
